Guacamole is one of my favourite snack sauce dips and if you make it from scratch yourself it’s so healthy! To let the flavour fully develop make your guacamole the day before you need it.
In my guacamole I use avocados, garlic and chilli infused olive oil, cherry tomatoes, finger chillies, fresh lemon and lime and sea salt and black pepper.
2x Avocados – quartered
1 to 2 x Fresh Chilli pepper – chopped
3 to 4 x Cherry Tomatoes – chopped
1 Lime – Squeezed
½ Lemon – Squeezed
1 to 2 tbl sp Olive Oil infused with garlic and chilli
Salt and fresh ground black pepper to taste
You can either use a hand held blender or a food processor – or if you fancy the dip a bit chunky you can finely chop the ingredients and mash in the avocado.
All you need to do is place all the ingredients in bowl and blend! It’s that simple!
Serve with fresh crudités or corn chips or slather it on your lunchtime sandwiches to spice up your day. Store the guacamole in the fridge, it will last 7 to 10 days.
